Awards
In an effort to implement the VFP Awards Policy the Awards committee is seeking to thank members who have demonstrated exemplary service to Veterans For Peace in our pursuit of a more peaceful world. We would appreciate your providing us with the names of those who you think would be deserving of recognition ASAP so that we can see to it that they are properly honored at the Convention. Deadline is July 30th.
GENERAL OUTLINE FOR EVALUATING AWARDS
1) Recognize VFP members or Associates who have brought the goals of VFP to the attention of members of their communities.
2) Recognize VFP members or Associates who have developed ideas or policies or who have led in implementing efforts to improve treatment of veterans and other victims of war.
3) Recognize non-VFP members whose exceptional efforts are consistent with criteria that we would apply to members in nominating them for an award.
VFP awards are presented to VFP members, supporters and chapters, for extraordinary service and are typically presented at the annual convention.
